How does my customer or guest know that a ride has been arranged for them?

When you request a ride for someone, they’ll receive a text message with either:

  • Information about the driver and vehicle coming to pick them up (for immediate/scheduled rides)
  • Instructions on how to request the trip (for flexible rides)

Make sure you have the correct mobile phone number entered for your riders, since all ride communications are sent via text message. This functionality isn’t available for landline phone numbers.

If the rider doesn’t have a mobile phone, please make sure to communicate all trip information to them. If you see the rider in person, we recommend filling out instruction cards for them.
