How does Uber Central work?

Uber Central lets organizations centrally request, manage, and pay for rides for their customers, guests, and clients—when and where they need them.

To activate your Uber Central account, you need to either:

  • Create an Uber for Business account (sign up on uber.com/business) and enable Uber Central.
  • Get invited to join an existing Uber for Business account that has Uber Central enabled.

When you’re invited to an Uber for Business account, you’ll receive a verification email. Sign in with your existing Uber rider account, or create a new one and verify your identity. (Your personal ride information won’t be shared with your organization or company—this is just for authentication purposes.)

Once you sign in, you’ll be able to start requesting rides.

To request, manage, and pay for rides for your patients, caregivers, and staff, please use the HIPAA-compliant Uber Health.
